It's been almost two weeks since my last hookup. A return trip to the STD clinic found nothing wrong. No Gonorrhea, No Clymidia. The drippy penis syndrome could have been caused by a NGU or NSU, but there is no test for that.
In case there was a problem, I alerted one of my "regulars" and also, the guy I sort of acused of giving me the drippy dick syndrome. Dude 418.
So far, the regular got tested and his tests came back negative. That's a relief. It means that I neither gave it to, nor received anything from him. I think the antibiotics got rid of the infection, what ever the cause.
I have an appointment next week with a urologist. I hope to rule out a bladder infection or problems with my prostate.
I'm still re evaluating my lifestyle. I'm not sure if I can go back to being celibate, but I'm going to give it a try for awhile.
I think it would be nice to have someone in my life to just have regular monogamous sex with.
Gulp.

I kept getting recurring sti-like symptoms but never testing positive for an sti. Turned out I had prostatitis. I guess we'll have to stay tuned to hear if that was your diagnosis as well.
ReplyDeleteI had that tossed out to me by my first (lame) urologist. He offered no treatment for it though. I guess it's a pretty vague term, meaning prostate infection. No idea of cause, bacterial, viral, injury, and not much treatment was offered. Did I want antibiotics?.
